In early September, the first event of the Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases consortium – an interdisciplinary forum “Cardiogenetics and Bioinformatics: Realities 2021” – was held at HSE University. The forum marked the start of the consortium after signing an agreement on scientific cooperation between the participating organizations. The forum was attended by heads and representatives of scientific centres and institutes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Arkhangelsk, Tyumen and Surgut.

The International Laboratory of Bioinformatics took part in and co-organized the Moscow Conference on Computational Molecular Biology July 30 – August 02, 2021 at Skoltech.
Online conference ABZ2021 took place on May 19th 2021 at Computer Science faculty of the HSE. More than 200 geneticists, molecular biologists, chemists and immunologists from 24 countries participated in the event. The conference was facilitated by the Computer Science faculty in collaboration with – Molecules (an open access journal by MDPI), RNA Society, International Journal of Molecular Sciences и InsideOutBio.
On June 29, 2021, the first School “Cardiogenetics and Bioinformatics – Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy” was held online.
The first School “Cardiogenetics and Bioinformatics – Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy”, which was organized by the members of the “Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases” consortium, was held. The consortium brings together the efforts of scientific groups and institutes to research the genetics of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), which consistently rank first in the world in mortality.
